Runway-Inspired: Hit WSP in These Turtlenecks

Winter in New York can be brutally cold. While it may seem impossible to be both warm and stylish, turtlenecks can help with this dilemma. Seen all over the runway, here are some of our favorite designer looks and their more affordable counterparts so you can be both bundled and chic this winter!

Look One

Loewe’s oversized turtleneck and wide-leg pants are the perfect winter duo. Baggy enough to hide your Uniqlo HEATTECH, this combo is timeless, cozy and elegant. Trade the sandals for winter boots, and you’ll be warm all the way from Gramercy to Bobst!

Look Two

Who cares that Labor Day was months ago?! Take a lesson in winter whites from Jil Sander’s pre-fall collection. Cashmere leggings, a fluffy white turtleneck and a big white coat will keep you as snug as can be while you trek across Washington Square for your 9 a.m. lecture.

Look Three

If you think you’re fearless enough to handle taking off your sweatpants, this Prabal Gurung look is a fabulous alternative. Pairing a long skirt with a belted turtleneck will keep you (almost) as warm while still giving you a little more shape. Add a big coat and some tights and you’re ready to hit 5th Avenue.
