Through the Decades: Halloween Costumes

Halloween is just around the corner which gives us little time to think of costumes. Use items already in your closet to mimic a fashionable look from your favorite decade.

The ‘20s

Channel your inner Fred Astaire and Humphrey Bogart by putting on the classiest of suits. The ‘20s were all about well-tailored clothing to fit the “gentleman’s aesthetic." A sharp suit jacket and dress pants will have you snapping your fingers and doing the Charleston.

The ‘50s

‘50s fashion was all about being demure, elegant and classy like Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. Put on a classic red lip and a pair of flowing shorts that accentuate your waist. Most importantly, walk around confidently and command the room you’re in with this graceful look.
